Secure End-to-End Encryption

Certain confidential and top secret information in transit must be secured stronger than conventional security systems may provide.

Eidel’s Secure Data Link (SDL) is a hardware-based encryption system designed for end-to-end encryption in remote locations and harsh environments.

High-Level Protection

Approved for HEMMELIG (SECRET) using GCM-AES-256 and CTR-AES-256 protection, with CIK for CCI handling and post-operation protection.

Mission Resilience

Features tampering protection and benign rekeying offline protection (black keys). Designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.

Versatile Connectivity

Uses Ethernet interface with CCSDS TM space protocol wrapping, making it ideal for radio transmissions and autonomous drone operations over great distances.

End-to-end encryption for remote missions and harsh environments

RUGGED CRYPTO UNITS (ECU)

The system utilizes compact and rugged EDDAS Crypto Units (ECU) to provide symmetrical end-to-end encryption for data in transit.

Whether fixed, mobile, or flying, the SDL protects images, video, and location data streams. It is specifically designed to work as a stand-alone system or integrated with the Eidel Distributed Data Acquisition System (EDDAS) to ensure data integrity even if equipment falls into unauthorized hands.

AUTONOMOUS CONTROL PROTECTION

SDL prevents unauthorized dissemination of information and safeguards autonomous systems against unauthorized access, manipulation, or takeover.

With two-way radio-based network connections, communication is protected in both directions. The solution can protect previously communicated information even if a drone crashes or ends up in unauthorized hands, allowing for secure drone control from one common location for an entire country.
