Systems Engineer

The position as System Engineer software is suitable for you who want to contribute to technology projects that will, among other things, result in technology that will go into space.

As a Systems Engineer at EIDEL, you get to help lead the technical work in high-tech development projects. Most of our projects have a long lead time and place great demands on the project organisation’s expertise and equipment. This means that it is important that you are calm and keep track of complicated situations and that you are able to quickly adapt when the project or organization requires it.

With us, as a System Engineer, you get to follow the project from implementation until the final product is delivered and accepted by the end customer. The workplace will be at EIDEL’s offices in Eidsvoll or Lillestrøm. Travel between the offices must be expected.

Tasks

• Follow up assigned project as overall system manager with primary responsibility for software from handover to completion to customer according to internal processes
• Follow up that the project delivers according to the technical requirements in the contract, including software requirements
• Be the systems technical counterpart to the administrative project manager
• Work closely with project managers on content and progress in projects
• Contribute to requirements-based software development and integration in the projects

Qualifications and competencies

• BSc or MSc in systems engineering or software engineering background is preferred or Practical execution of system engineering over time with relevant courses and software experience
• Solid understanding of system engineering methods and processes
• Strong technical background within system engineering and software development
• Advantage with knowledge of methods and principles in the “INCOSE system engineering handbook”
• Experience with software development methods and tools for validation is preferred
• Having been involved in leading larger projects is an advantage
• More than 3-5 years’ experience with several closing projects is preferable
• Good Norwegian and English skills, written and spoken

Security Clearance requirement

You must be able to be obtain security clearance up to HEMMLIG / NATO SECRET
