EIDEL at DOD AIMS
EIDEL and Thales Norway Showcase Cutting-Edge Technology at 2025 DoD International AIMS User Working Group
Denver, Colorado – EIDEL is set to make a significant impact at the 2025 DoD International AIMS User Working Group (UWG) in Denver, Colorado. Representing Norwegian technology, EIDEL and Thales Norway with the Norwegian National Security Authority, will showcase its innovative Remote Crypto Distribution System (RCDS®) in collaboration with Thales Norway’s encryption solution, the Cryptel Must TCE811.

The RCDS® is a state-of-the-art system designed to remotely distribute cryptographic variables (CVs) to multiple locations from a central site. This capability eliminates the need for manual crypto fills, significantly reducing manpower and operational costs
The system is NATO-approved and provides secure, efficient management of cryptographic keys, ensuring robust security for military communications.
Thales Norway’s Cryptel Must TCE811 complements the RCDS® by offering a versatile, NATO-approved platform for secure applications. This device streamlines the handling of large amounts of crypto keys and classified data, making it an ideal solution for modern military operations
At the UWG, EIDEL and Thales Norway will demonstrate how their combined technologies can securely send crypto variables to Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 5 systems. IFF Mode 5 is a military identification system that uses encrypted interrogations and responses to distinguish friendly forces from potential threats. This system enhances combat identification and reduces the risk of friendly fire incidents.
The collaboration between EIDEL, Thales Norway, and the Norwegian National Security Authority highlights Norway’s commitment to advancing military technology and ensuring the security of its communications infrastructure. The 2025 DoD International AIMS User Working Group provides an excellent platform for these organizations to showcase their innovations and contribute to global defense initiatives.
