Highlights from the International Aeronautical Congress 2024 in Milan
Attending the International Aeronautical Congress (IAC) is an exhibitor is a remarkable experience. IAC an annual event where space companies, organizations and governmental agencies from all over the world have the opportunity to meet and present their ideas, technologies and projects and discuss business opportunities. IAC holds about 10.000 attendees and this year’s IAC was placed in Milano, Italy, one of the leading countries for space activities.
EIDEL was part of the Norwegian pavillion, a spacious exhibit, designed, organized and executed by Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Space Agency. They did an excellent job in organizing the pavillion and the program for the participants, and the pavilion was beautifully made, featuring a Norwegian theme with blue backlighted panles with company logos alongside wooden panels with imagery of the Northern Lights and a large LCD screen to show company videoes.
EIDEL was placed alongside our partners from the Norwegian space sector. Next to us, Andøya Space and Space Education, Space Norway, and KSAT. On the other side Nammo, KDA and the Norwegian Space Agency. In addtion particiapants from Nåva space, NTNU and Widenorth, UIO ITS were present in addition to students from Orbit NTNU who were very visible with their Orbit sweaters.
From day one, we had a steady flow of visitors on our booth, both from the industry, agencies and students looking for collaboration opportunities and internships.
We networked with professionals from various sectors, exchanged insights on emerging trends, and explored potential collaborations. The congress featured insightful presentations and panel discussions, highlighting key advancements in aeronautics. The topic for this years IAC was “Responsible Space for Sustainability”, with speaches on protectig the rainforest using satellites capabilites. Overall, it was a valuable platform for promoting our brand and strengthening our presence in the aerospace community. We look forward to applying the knowledge gained and building on the connections made during this impactful event.
